Looking to lend a hand in your student’s classroom, help with a school-wide event, or serve in the lunchroom? At SouthLake Christian, families can plug into several parent organizations and play a meaningful role in school life, and support the mission of SouthLake Christian.

Serve in our Eagle Cafe by volunteering during lunch to help support students and staff in a friendly, welcoming environment.
The Eagle Club is a booster organization that supports our athletics program and campus needs, working to enrich the experience of our student-athletes and fans.
Our Friends of Fine Arts parent group champions the visual and performing arts, providing resources and encouragement for music, theater, and art programs.
The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) serves the school as a whole, fostering community, encouraging volunteerism, and supporting teachers, staff, and families through events, appreciation efforts, and school-wide initiatives.

Eagle Cafe

SouthLake Christian partners with local food service vendors that offers a variety of options for lunches.

Our lunch program begins on the Monday following the first three days of school. During those first three days, all students must bring their own lunch, though drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.

The online lunch menu will be open for ordering from the 10th to the 20th of each month. In August, the ordering window runs from July 20 to August 3. Throughout the school year, families will receive reminders when the system opens for ordering, and it will remain open for 10 days each time to provide plenty of time to place orders.

New Families

Your email login and password will remain unchanged.
Forgot password? You can request a new one on the login screen.
Your child's grade and/or teacher information will be updated by the administration.
Please ensure that any changes in your account information such as email address, bank account, phone number, etc., are updated accordingly.

Returning Families

For families new to SouthLake Christian, please visit www.orgsonline.com and select "Create New Account," then follow the provided step-by-step instructions. Use the school code 19slakenc

Placing Orders

Go to www.orgsonline.com.
New students: Select “Create New Account” and follow the prompts. Use School Code: 19slakenc.
Existing students: Enter your email and password, then click “Submit” to log in.
Click “Click Here to Access the Lunch System.”
Use the menu on the left to view amounts due, orders, payments, or to place a lunch order.
Add any new students to your account before placing an order.
Check the Message Board for important updates about lunches, field trips, and related events before ordering.
Place a separate order for each child. When the online menu opens, select “Place Order” and make your selections for that student.
After submitting, review and confirm each order. Orders are only recorded once you reach the confirmation page, and you will receive an email confirmation for every child’s order.
You may modify orders while the system is open. Orders are considered final only after payment is received; unpaid orders may be canceled.
For convenience, you may pay online by electronic check through our third‑party payment service (credit cards are not accepted).
After confirming your orders, select “Pay now,” enter your account information, and submit the total amount due. You may pay more than the balance, and any extra funds will be available for your student at the snack counter.
Online payment is a one‑time transaction each ordering period. Your account information is stored, but payments are not drafted automatically; you must select “Pay now” each time. A convenience fee of $1.35 applies to online payments.

Volunteer

We need your assistance! To successfully continue offering lunches to our children, we are seeking volunteers to help with lunch distribution. Volunteers will assist students of all grades in Hampton Hall (we require 4-5 volunteers each day from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM). If you have any questions, contact the lunch coordinators at eaglecafe@southlakechristian.org. Our success depends on your support, and we cannot sustain this program without you. Volunteering in the lunchroom is an excellent way to remain engaged with SouthLake Christian, get to know our students, and meet other parents. Sign up here!

PTF (Parent Teacher Fellowship)

The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) serves as an auxiliary support network, aiding in a range of extracurricular programs within the school. This effort is a joint initiative aimed at enriching students' educational experiences by building a robust alliance between parents and educators. These responsibilities are intended to uphold the school's objectives, promote community engagement, and aid in the comprehensive success of the students.

Organize Staff Activities:
- The PTF arranges various events for both students and faculty, including Teacher Appreciation Week, exam week treats, end-of-year surprises for students, and a Christmas dinner for the staff.
Promote Volunteerism:
- Encourage parents to volunteer in various capacities, such as assisting in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, or participating in school events.
Foster a Positive School Community:
- Organize events that bring the school community together, such as spring festivals and hospitality events to build relationships and enhance the sense of community.
Encourage Parental Involvement:
- Develop initiatives that make it easier for working parents to participate in school activities, such as scheduling events at various times.

The success of the Parent Teacher Fellowship hinges on effective collaboration, clear communication, and a shared commitment to the well-being and education of the students. Through this support, the PTF plays a crucial role in creating a supportive and enriching school environment.

School-Wide Events

The PTF takes the lead on events such as the Spring Festival and works closely with teachers and staff on the many details of the following:

Back to School Lunch for Staff.
Annual fundraising and organizing for the Staff Christmas Dinner.
Provides snacks for both the middle and upper school during exam weeks for each semester.
Birthday treats and coffee of the month for all faculty and staff.
Assists with budgets for room parents (JK-4) for classes to use for class needs.
Provides funds to be used for the end of year treats in the upper school.

Past celebrations have included live music, performances, dances, student-led projects, and food trucks. PTF representatives and other volunteers also support the school’s Open House event in October, as well as the Gala and Auction in March.
