After The Academics

The Student Enrichment program here at SouthLake Christian, has been designed as an extension of our successful summer camp program, with the intention of bringing additional, extracurricular opportunities to our SouthLake Christian student body.

From academics to the arts and robotics to recreation, we will be adding specialized programs to our after-school calendar with the goal of enhancing your student's experience here at SouthLake Christian.  Our long-term goal is to provide programs that will cross over all grade levels, ranging from JK through 12th grade, and we will be looking to add programs for additional grade levels as this program builds and grows.   

From Lego to lacrosse, basketball to Barbie, and cheerleading to cooking, we’re hoping there will be a program designed to cater to every student need, passion and interest.

At our After-School program, students are under the supervision of experienced staff members, both part-time and full-time, who are committed to offering a safe, nurturing, and enjoyable environment in a cozy setting. We provide nutritious snacks for all students in our care, as well as a dedicated time for homework. Our After-School program operates during the school academic year and does not run during scheduled school breaks such as Teacher Workdays, Fall Break, Christmas Break, Easter Break, and others.

• Hours: Monday to Thursday until 6 p.m., and on Friday, until 5:30 p.m. Depending on grade level, students check in between 2:30 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. in the Lower Level of Hampton Hall. 
• Registration: Families will be notified prior to the start of the school year. It is recommended to register your child for the After School Care (ASC) program in case you require last-minute care. Registering does not obligate you to use the ASC program.
• Fees: Families will receive their billing statements via FACTS on the 10th of each month, starting in September. Details about our location notification system will be shared at the beginning of the school year. For any inquiries, reach out to the After-School office.
  • Daily fixed rate per child = $20
  • Drop In: Families who would like to use After-School Care on an as-needed basis will be charged the hourly rate. Drop-in spots are also available each day.
• Pick-up: Is between 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. = $10 per hour 
• Late Fee: An extra fee of $25 applies if a child is collected after 6:00 p.m. for the first and second times. Should a third late pick-up occur, the student might be excluded from After-School for one month.
