Dr. Joel Schuster serves as our Head of School with extensive experience in Christian education, ministry, and leadership.

Dr. Apgar serves as our Head of Lower School and boasts twenty-six years of educational experience spanning across three different schools.

Mrs. Thomas served as a math, science, and Fine Arts educator as well as an administrator in private Christian schools in Virginia and Texas prior to joining the SouthLake community in 2016.

Mrs. Makla has been the Assistant Principal at SouthLake Christian for four years and has held the position of Head of Upper School for the past five years.

Mrs. Boone Mrs. Boone serves as SouthLake's Director of Academics & Curriculum with over 26 years of experience in education.

Mrs. Johnson is the academy’s Chief Financial Officer. She joined SouthLake Christian in 2022. Prior to joining SouthLake, she worked as a vice president in the finance group of Providence Equity Partners.
