Head Coach: Cami Reed
Cami Creed attended SouthLake Christian from 2009-2016. She started her cheerleading career at SouthLake Christian in 7th grade, cheering on the middle school football team. She continued on cheering for Varsity football for all 4 years of high school, leading as team captain her senior year. Cami also did competitive cheerleading from 2013-2016 at White Lightning and Cheer Athletics. She went on to attend UNC Chapel Hill from 2016-2020 where she continued her cheerleading career on the Co-Ed game day team.
Cami began coaching in high school, volunteering to coach JEFA cheerleading and middle school cheerleading at SouthLake Christian. She also started teaching tumbling private lessons at her competitive cheerleading gym. Following her freshman year of college, Cami coached competitive cheerleading and tumbling lessons at a small gym in Denver for the summer. She picked up coaching again as the middle school and varsity cheerleading assistant coach when she started to work at SouthLake Christian in 2020. Cami became the head coach of varsity cheerleading in the 2023-2024 season, and she is now a stay at home mom to two boys. She remains the head coach, along with Jess Freeman. With her experience with the collegiate athletic ministry, Athletes in Action, she hopes to constantly help her athletes grow in physically, mentally, and spiritually.
