Meet The Coaches
Head Coach: Matt Jackson
Matt Jackson serves as the Middle School Football Coach at SouthLake Christian. A dedicated athlete, Matt played football throughout high school at Christ School in Asheville, where he not only developed his athletic skills but also cultivated strong Christian leadership values.
He continued his education at Auburn University, graduating in the fall of 2021. During his time at Auburn, Matt further honed his leadership abilities through various internships and community outreach activities. Shortly after graduation, he transitioned into coaching, taking on the role of positions coach for SouthLake's varsity football team during the 2021-2022 season.
After a brief hiatus from coaching to focus on his career in residential construction, Matt is excited to return to the field this fall. Bringing with him a renewed sense of purpose, Matt is passionate about coaching kids, football, and sharing his faith in Christ. He is dedicated to using his Christian leadership skills to guide and mentor young athletes as the Middle School Football Coach for the 2024 season at SouthLake Christian.
