SouthLake Christian Academy founded the Junior Eagles sports ministry in 2005 with the purpose of providing Lake Norman's youth with programs that teach players the fundamentals of team sports while incorporating Christian principles. The Junior Eagles leagues are open to all families in the Lake Norman area. Junior Eagles currently administers JEFA (Jr. Eagle Football Association) in the fall, JEMA (Jr. Eagle Mat Association) in the winter, and JEBA (Jr. Eagle Basketball Association) in the spring.
Junior Eagle Authentics: Christian life principles are taught in each Junior Eagles practice and game:
Junior Eagles Football Association was formed in 2005 to teach young men the skills necessary to play the game of football and to grow into godly young men. The league is open to SouthLake Christian students and non-students alike.
The league operates from July through the end of October, culminating in a championship under the lights. Players practice two nights per week and play most games on Saturdays on our turf field. Players are matched up against others of similar size in our Lightweight and Heavyweight divisions.
In addition to regular league play, JEFA operates a summer camp in June. To register for the JEFA summer camp, click here.
