Baseball - Varsity

The SouthLake Boys Varsity Baseball Program stresses hard work, fundamentals, teamwork, and discipline at our core and we look to develop these skills within the structure of the team.

SouthLake Eagles play in the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) Division II Conference. Hosting games in Eagles Park, the Eagles have had multiple All-State performers and have had an impressive number of graduates go on to become collegiate players.

The Eagles won the NCISAA state championship in 2011 and were state runners-up in 2022. Recent wins include the MAC championships in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022 and have had 19 NCISAA All-State award winners. Eagles Park, the baseball home for the Eagles’ program, opened up on campus in 2020.

Our Philosophy
The baseball program provides an opportunity for students to be competitive and develop their skills to be successful. Stressing a strong, positive environment where our student-athletes can flourish is of the utmost importance. Taking risks and being supportive of your teammates builds strong team chemistry. Becoming closer as a team will help each other on the court and lead to success. We want our students to have a competitive edge and not back down from any opponent. The varsity program looks to develop skills for players that want to pursue lacrosse at the college level as well.
