Head of School Welcome

Greetings SLCA Families and Visitors,

 

Welcome to SouthLake Christian Academy!  I am so glad that you are exploring our website as I believe you will discover who we are and why we might be a great fit for your family.  

 

As you research our academic programs, extra-curriculars, student life, and community, you will see the ways in which we seek to chase our vision that Christ would be preeminent in all things (Colossians 1:18). As you dig in to specific areas in which your own child(ren) would be pointed to Jesus on a daily basis believing that we exist as a school for the sake of God's glory and mission; proclaiming the gospel, educating and discipling the whole person in all aspects of God's reality (SLCA Mission).  Please spend some time exploring our leadership as well as our faculty and staff and imagine the ways in which they would come alongside your family in the Christian education of the child(ren) in your home.

 

It has been said often that SouthLake Christian Academy is like a family.  I expect that the more time you spend on our website, the more you will want to visit our campus.  From the moment you arrive, it would be my prayer that you would see all the above lived out and that you would sense that we are family.  Then, if God is calling you to join the SLCA family, my greatest hope would be that we would all "have no greater joy than to see our children walking in the truth." (3 John 4)
