Whether you're returning for another great year or joining our school family for the first time, we're excited to have you with us. Dress Code

Our dress code helps every Eagle walk into class ready to learn, in an environment that reflects unity and respect. Here's the quick-reference version - full grade-specific details live in the Family Handbook.

Daily Uniform

Uniform tops tucked in, uniform bottoms, and closed-toe shoes every school day.

Seniors Only

May wear Spirit Day shirts with uniform bottoms on informal uniform days both semesters, and college shirts or sweatshirts on informal uniform days in the Spring semester only.

Friday Spirit Wear

Any SLCA spirit shirt paired with uniform-appropriate bottoms and shoes.

Upper School Students

Are required to wear the formal uniform for class presentations, field trips, special events, and school pictures. Full uniform includes a jacket, shirt, and dress bottoms, a tie for boys.

Dress Down Days

Check the App for announced dress-down days and themes throughout the year.

Outerwear

Heavy winter jackets and outerwear not SouthLake-affiliated should be kept inside a school locker during the day. Students may retrieve and wear these jackets only when they are outside the school buildings.

Getting to campus

Carline 101

New to SouthLake Christian or just need a refresher? Here's how drop-off and pick-up work.
Our carline is designed to get your student in and out safely and efficiently. Please review the map and procedures before the first day - our staff will be out in force the first week to help everyone find their groove.

First-week carline can be a little slower as everyone learns the routine - thank you in advance for your patience and grace!

After the Academics

After-School Care Program: Learning doesn't end at the final bell. After-school care at SouthLake Christian Academy gives your JK–6 child a place to grow, create, and connect - long after the school day ends. From arts and athletics to STEM and homework help, our programs are designed to extend the SouthLake experience in a safe, nurturing environment. Explore the opportunities below and find the right fit for your child.

The Student Enrichment program here at SouthLake Christian, has been designed with the intention of bringing additional, extracurricular opportunities to our SouthLake Christian student body. From academics to the arts and robotics to recreation, we will be adding specialized programs to our after-school calendar with the goal of enhancing your student's experience here at SouthLake Christian. 

From Lego to lacrosse, basketball to Barbie, and cheerleading to cooking, we’re hoping there will be a program designed to cater to every student need, passion and interest. 

Led by SouthLake Christian faculty & staff. Unless otherwise posted, all enrichment take place from 3:30 - 5:00 pm on that program's designated day.

Annual Permission Trip Form

A new Annual Field Trip Authorization & Permission Form is now available and is required for every student.

To complete the form:

  1. Log in to the FACTS Family Portalhttps://sis.factsmgt.com/family-portal

  2. From the left menu, select School > Web Forms.

  3. Open the Annual Field Trip Authorization & Permission Form.

  4. Complete and submit one form for each of your children.

Important: This form is required for all students, even if you are not granting permission for your child to participate in field trips. We are required to have a completed form on file for every student. Additional information and details can be found within the form itself.
