Christain Academy education takes place both in and outside
the classroom. Opportunity and participation are two words
that characterize the SLCA experience. Whether it is playing
basketball in the State Championship or building a set
for the drama production, SouthLake students have opportunities
to gain an education for a lifetime. |
| |
| Athletics |
Students
may begin participating on SouthLake’s athletic teams
at the middle school, junior varsity or varsity level
in such sports as soccer, football, volleyball, basketball,
wrestling, softball and golf. |

|
| Arts |
The
arts are an integral part of life at SouthLake. Each year
students stage, direct, and perform a drama for the community.
Our choirs, choral ensembles, and Orchestra perform in
Chapel and special events. Whether having their skill
in "visual arts" or "throwing a pot"
in ceramics, students have many opportunities. |

Government |
SouthLakes
form of student government allows students to use their
gifts and talents to provide leadership, organization,
and service to its community and beyond. Currently student
government provides leadership in the following areas:
communications, service, spirit, spiritual life, and student
life. |
