Yearbook
Upper school students have the option of enrolling
in the student yearbook elective course to serve as writers,
phototgraphers and editors of this school publication. |
Middle
& Upper School Retreats
During the academic year, Middle and Upper School students,
faculty and staff gather in fellowship to build unity and instill
a sense of teamwork. Seventh and eighth graders participate
in an on campus retreat while grades 9-12 participate in a two-day
off-campus retreat. |
Beta
Club/Junior Beta Club
Membership
in Junior and Senior Beta Clubs is awarded to students maintaining
specific grade and conduct requirements. The Beta Club is service
oriented. Participants develop leadership skills and provide
service to both school and community throughout the school year.

Student
Council/Junior Council
Elections are held in the spring for officers to lead Junior
and Senior Student Councils. These student-run organizations
play a key role in school functions such as Fall Festival and
Spirit Week, and in SouthLake Christian's community outreach.

National
Honor Society
Membership in the National Honor Society is awarded to
students who exemplify academic excellence based on a cumulative
grade point average of 3.8 or greater (on a 4.0 scale) as well
as the characteristics of service, leadership, character and
citizenship. |
